Dimitris Spathis

Dimitris is a doctoral researcher in Mobile Systems at the University of Cambridge, UK. He has degrees in AI and Computer Science and has previously worked at Microsoft Research, Telefonica Research, Qustodio, and Ocado. His research focus is on data-efficient models that learn generalizable and personalized representations of complex data coming from mobile and wearable devices. His recent work leverages unsupervised learning with large population cohorts to create robust models of human activity and behavior. Last, he serves at the TPC of AAAI, IJCAI, and KDD, as well as his research projects have been featured in international media (BBC, Guardian, Forbes, Times, NPR, Venturebeat).
