Stefanos Laskaridis
Stefanos is a research scientist at Samsung AI Center in Cambridge, UK. He’s an alumnus of the University of Cambridge Computer Lab and he has also worked in CERN, Switzerland. His research revolves around Distributed Systems and Machine Learning, with special focus on mobile and embedded systems. He has recently published work on distributed and “approximate” inference through early exits. Lately he has been focusing on the problem of heterogeneity in Federated Learning. Last, he has co-organised two iterations of the DistributedML workshop, co-located last year with CoNEXT (‘20,’21).
